Kristi Good - Science
contact me
Kristi migrated from California where she grew up surrounded by water. In high school, she was an avid swimmer and water polo player, and would work as a lifeguard and swim instructor during the summers. She then moved on to the University of San Diego, where she enjoyed living near the ocean. She was very much inspired by her high school chemistry teacher, so she decided to major in chemistry. After graduating from college, she knew she wanted to move to Colorado, where she could pursue her love of the mountains. Getting accepted to the University of Colorado in Boulder for graduate school was her ticket to the lifestyle she had always dreamed of. Once she earned her Master’s degree in Biochemistry she relocated to Steamboat Springs and ended up teaching biology and chemistry at Colorado Mountain College for 3 years. There she realized how much she loves to teach, and would supplement by tutoring local high school students. After being lured to Durango by some dear friends, Kristi and her boyfriend John join CTA as outdoor enthusiasts who are excited to help the students find their passions in life.

He has worked as an educator in a wide variety of venues, teaching reading, Spanish, and English literature in both

Ed grew up in the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York riding and racing motocross and BMX,
fishing the local rivers and reservoirs and playing ice hockey. Once in college he began what would turn
into a life long passion for travel and outdoor adventure, with New Paltz, NY and the "Gunks" as the primary

return to the Durango area 2 years after departing. Ed recently received his MAT in History from Bard
